My story so far

Lord Jesus, I thankyou for today and what it has brought. I pray now for the upcoming weeks ahead that I have and I pray that you would use me in a way that glorifies your name

When we place our hope in God, He charges our batteries with a positive perspective.

Lord Jesus, in the story of King Aram and Elisha, the king sent a vast army to kill Elisha. Now Elisha's servent panicked, however, Elisha didn't because he had trust and faith in your love and power. I pray that I may develop the trust and faith and belief that you can overcome anything like Elisha had. I thankyou for giving me this story as an example that you can overcome everything if I just totally give everything to you.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. - Hebrews 11:1

God grants His people the ability to bear defeat without losing heart.

Lord, I thankyou for today. I know that you have been with me all through it in every thing I have done. I pray now that I can build on this day and let it be a foundation and building block in my walk with you. I now know that when situations come up and failures mount up, that I need to, step back and re-examine what I was doing. I thankyou for your love today, it has truely made my day brill

Patience is better than pride. - Ecclesiastes 7:8

God provided a way for us to escape a checkered past and enjoy a bright and prosperous future.

Lord Jesus, this week I've been looking at all the different aspects of my future, eternally, and on this earth, I pray now Jesus that you would direct my life fully. I give it all up to you, because you planned my future not on my past, but you based my future on me recognising you as my king and living a life that is trying to glorify your name.

As far as the sunrise is from sunset, he has separated us from our sins. - Psalm 103:12

God's dream has always been to spend eternity with us!

Lord I thankyou today that you are never ending, that I am going to spend eternity with one person only and that is you. I pray for those who fear death and pray that they realise that where they may see death, they see a new life and a brilliant oppourtunity to spend a lifetime with their creator, lord, saviour and eternal friend.

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Aim high, for nothing is impossible with God!

Lord I thankyou that in you anything is possible. That you Lord Jesus are the only one who can will something into happening. I thankyou for my future, whatever lies ahead for me. I pray that those around me as well would feel the peace in their hearts as I do about what you have in store for us and that they would not worry.

I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out- plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. - Jeremiah 29:11

Heavenly Father: Only by your grace can I live a life that is pleasing to you. Fill me with your holy spirit so that I can be a living, breathing example of your love to others.

LIve in order to please God, as in fact your are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more. - 1 Thessalonians 4:1

Lord I thankyou for children. They can make you smile when you feel down and out,they lift us up and find energy from places that are beyond me. I thankyou that you have blessed our church with such a great bunch of children and young people and I pray that these children and young people can grow up to be great men and women of you, God.

Praise brings God to the forefront of any situation.

Lord Jesus, I thankyou that when I start to doubt myself, that I can't handle situations or events in my life, I pray that you will be the centre of my life and that I will praise you. I realise if I praise you, then my attitude will change and the atmousphere surrounding me can only be one of glorifying your name

I will praise you as long as I live. - Psalm 63:4

God will sometimes put us in situations where His voice is the only one we can hear.

Jesus, I've read that you, the son of God, needed time alone, away from crowds. I pray that as I reflect on my time taken to talk to you God, that I realise that I should be in constant conversation with you, and I pray that in these next couple of weeks, I develop the lifestyle of being in constant conversation with you. Thankyou for listening.

DOn't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything .... His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7

God counts us as trustworthy.

God I thankyou that your plan has me in one place and working for your kingdom. I thankyou for the opportunities that will come up for me and that are already here. I pray that you would make known to me the great plans you have for me.

Whatever may be your task, work at it heartily (from the soul), as (something done) for the Lord and not for men. - Colossians 3:23-24

God has chosen our lives to be the classroom. He has also provided an excellent tutor - himself.

Jesus, you were such a wise person when you walked this earth. Your knowledge left people stunned to silence. I thankyou so much that if I ask for wisdom or knowledge in a situation, you can grant me it with you love and care. I thankyou that you give me unending blessings. I pray for our world today that it looks towards America and see's a time for equality and love should be now and war should cease.

If any of you need wisdom, you should ask God, and it will be given to you. - James 1:5

God loves us - from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet.

Lord thankyou that you know everything about me. You know me inside out, and I thankyou Jesus that you take such an interst in me. I mess up all the times but your amazing grace is such a wonderful gift. I thankyou God that you know me so well.

The very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to him than a whole flock of sparrows. - Luke 12:7

Dear Lord, Your grace leaves no one out - Your will is for anyone and everyone to come and experience it. I want to walk in it every moment for the rest of my life, and I want to share it with others. Thank you for the greatest gift ever given.

Now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don't put it off. - 2 Corinthians 6:2-3

Lord I just pray that today you would bless this day, and I pray that i would learn from it and see your glory within it.

When we give our all to God, He gives so much more in return.

Lord Jesus, I just read that we must give everything to you, every aspect of our lives must involve you being the centre of it all. I pray that you would be that for me, that I wouldn't hold anything back from you God. I thankyou for the times when you have blessed me with your grace and I thankyou so much for this and the life you have given me to lead.

I'll give him and his descendants the land he walked on because he was all for following GOD, heart and soul. - Deuteronomy 1:36

No matter how hard life's journey may be, our voyage will be a success as long as we have God as our traveling companion.

Lord Jesus, as I read this, these words really fill me with encouragement that you are always there for me. You won't provide me with everything I desire but you will give me everything I need. You won't do everything I want - but You will, always, always, do what is right and what is best for me. Thankyou God for doing these things for me and keeping my feet on the ground.

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. - Hebrews 12:1-2

God has a plan for our lives, and He's eager to share it with us.

Lord I thankyou for the plan you have in my life. That you will guide me in the right path for my future. I thankyou that I can pray to you and ask for help and guidence. I pray now for those who need this help that you would let your wisdom known to them. I praise you Lord Jesus for the amazing things you want to with my life and I pray that you will be with me every step of my life.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. - Psalm 32:8

God's hands are the perfect place to grow something beautiful.

Lord as I read what I have just typed above, I just pray now that you hold me close to you right now. I pray that you pick me up and let me flourish with you and that what is hurting right now, you would just let go for me. I know you are the God who heals, so I pray now that you raise me up so I can become your man of God.

Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. - Philippians 3:12

God sees each problem as an opportunity to perform a miracle.

Lord Jesus I thankyou so much that you are in my corner. You have me covered no matter what test I go through or hard times. Lord Jesus I pray for forgiveness for the times when I have given in and not believed in you and I pray now that you would just invade my life and just make me reliase that when I want to do something on my own or something that isn't pleasing to you, that I will remember that with you God, everything is so much better and worth it. Thankyou God

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. - James 1:2-3

Dear Lord: Your grace has given me everything I need to win. Help me to step out by faith and take hold of your plan and purpose in my life. I don't want to play it safe. I want to courageously pursue all you have for me.

By You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall. - Psalm 18:29

Lord Jesus, I thankyou for my family and the support they give me. I pray for them and that you give them energy and just keep them safe. I thankyou Lord that I can give everything to you and any situation.

God's timing is always perfect - even when it means we have to wait!

Lord I realise after reading today that what I need and what I want are totally different. You don't take away a bad habit in he blink of an eye, and you don't heal relationships immediately, everything is done is your time. The right time. So I just pray now God that you help me learn from waiting and develop the gift of patience as it is not always something that has been my strong point.

I wait eagerly for the Lord's help, and in his word I trust. - Psalm 130:5

When it comes to loving His people, God chooses not to be choosy.

Lord Jesus thankyou so much for tonight I pray now Lord that I realise that I can't pick everything that I want, I must be grateful for the people in my life. Which I am. Lord I thankyou that you love us and the complete package, that you dont choose the nice bits or the good parts of us, but you love us whole, bad and good points. I pray that I would have this atitude to others and that others would have it with me Lord. Thankyou for your grace, and I thankyou for this week as it has been a enormous blessing to me.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails! - 1 Corinthians 13:6-8

With God, change is not the end but the beginning of something new and exciting.

Lord I thankyou so much for this daily grace I have. I notice that everyday the passage and grace is so relavent to what I am going through, and I know you are there reading it with me. I thankyou for change, it says that it may not always be comfortable or convenient, but in the end God, it's your will and how I handle these changes will shape me and mould me into my character that you want me to be. So I thankyou for your continue blessing and I pray for the changes in my life right now and thankyou Lord for them because it is your will.

Behold, I will do something new....I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. - Isiah 43:19

When we rest on God's promises, we are floating on the sea of faith.

Lord I thankyou for today. Faith is alot like floating, It's resting on what I know is true, God, you love me, our wise, all-powerful, you want the best for me, you hear my prayers, you have a purpose for me. If I rest on these truths Jesus they can give me the courage to move forward in tough situations, especially, when I feel I'm in over my head. Lord Jesus, I pray today that what I believe will open my eyes to the big picture of life. Let these things support me throughout my day. I rst on your promises, I relax in your faithfulness of your character, and now I'm ready to dive on in to whatever the day ahead may hold.

We live by faith, not by sight. - 2 Corinthians 5:7

God gave us His words so they could become our words.

lord I pray for myself and the aspirations I hold. I pray that the power of words are used effectively and wisely. I pray that I can change my words and I'll change my world. Lord I pray for forgiveness in the times when I have used my toungue as a weapon and I pray that I would use my mouth as a way to help others and spread your word.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - Proverbs 18:21

Heavenly Father: I know you've planted a dream in my heart. I ask for your grace as I reach out to take hold of it. Thank you for trusting me with your divine purpose.

The plans of the righteous are just. - Proverbs 12:5

Lord Jesus, I pray today for the world as it's going through a pretty rough time right now. I pray that you would be able to bring comfort to those who need it and help influence leaders in bringing about change and peace to the world you love and created.

God loves our enemies just as much as He loves us.

Lord I pray for those who do not like me. It may sound strange but I know that if I look at them how you do, then I can see behind that pre-judged view of them and see your glory in them. I thankyou for the people who I don't always get on with and pray for them in this new year.

Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. - Matthew 5:44

Jesus loves us with a love that goes the distance - in every sense of the word.

Jesus, you left heaven for earth. That alone shows your love to us as people on earth that you gave up your life in heaven to come down to earth and die on a cross for our sins. Lord Jesus in this new year I pray that you would invade my life fully and help me to become a Christ-like deciple for you Lord Jesus.
