My story so far

Lord Jesus, I pray now for those with health problems in my family at this moment. I pray that you will look after them and give them your healing touch. Thankyou

God is even more pleased about our success than we are.

Jesus, I thankyou that you can humble all people, even those who are totally against everything you have done. I thankyou that you are happy for my success and that you pik me up when I fail, and I just want to keep on thanking you and i just want to keep on remembering how big and powerful you are.

Humble youselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. - James 4:10

In our time of need, the human resources God has provided for us are only a cry of 'Help!' away.

Lord I pray that I remember to take advantage of the wise people around me and to remember it is mature to ask for help and ignorant to ignore the helpful people you have placed in my life.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Whe God is steering us down life's highway we will never veer off course.

Lord you have htat amazing plan in store for me and it excites me to think of it. I pray now that you would let the right words come out of my mouth and that I keep things I shouldn't say in my head and pray to you about the situation. I thankyou for those wise people around me who guide me and I thankyou most of all Lord Jesus that you give me wisdom from you.

But the Lord's plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken. - Psalm 33:11

God will provide us with what we need to know when we need to know it.

Lord I thankyou that you give me the knowledge that I need when I need it, because I can't understand everything and I pray that when doubts arrive that you would be there to assure me by your grace and love that you are always there.

We don't have to look out for Number One, because God is already looking for us.

Lord it's not about me, it's all about You, and what you have done for me. I pray now today on this beautiful day you have created for me, that you impact my life continuously and make me realise that I need to drive out my pride and humble myself totally for you and realise how big you are and how small I am, help me to decrease while you increase Jesus.

Jesus I pray for my brothers, both in very different stages of their lives and I just pray for your protection over both as they try to live Christ like lives for you their King and Saviour.

With God at home in our hearts, we have all we need to make others feel at home anywhere.

Jesus, you were the perfect example of compassion and kindness. I pray that today I can look at your life as an example and really try to live a life that I can say I have helped people or shared kindness and compassion for people in need. I pray that you would make me more aware of situations and look at them with a heart that is covered in your love.

Be hospitable to one another without grumbling. - 1 Peter 4:9

Because of the courage and strength God provides, hope expressed can become hope realized.

Lord you are there for me so that i can be picked up and be given a second chance. i pray that I would turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to those who discourage me or try to lead me down a path that you do not want me to follow. i pray for these people and pray that as they try these things that they realise how important you Lord God and my faith is to me and that they will see your glory through me.

By doing good you will put a stop to the talk of foolish people. They don't know what they are saying. God wants you to stop them. - 1 Peter 2:15

We are never on the outside when God is inside us.

Lord there are situations in my life right now where I need to be as strong is my faith as I have ever been. I pray that through your Holy Spirit in me I can speak your word and the good news of Jesus to the people in my life that are searching for something but just can't see that, the thing they are missing is you Lord.

There is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. - Proverbs 18:24

Peace is not the absense of trouble. It's the presense of God.

Lord I thankyou that in a time of trouble I can just stop and ask for your peace and I know from your promises that your presense is there and that i can see the situation through your eyes. i pray now that you would be in places of war and conflict and that you keep those doing your work safe. I pray that one day you will bring an end to all wars and conflicts in this broken world.

God's peace, which is far beyond human understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7

God has all the wisdom we will ever need.

Lord I thankyou for my parents I might not always think they are great or are looking out for me, but their love for me is amazing. I thankyou for them both and the lvoe and care they have shown to me as a child and now as an adult. I pray for them that you keep them safe and look over them in these coming years.

Wisdom belongs to the aged, and understanding to those who have lived many years. - Job 12:12

Precious Father: Thank you for making me spiritually rich, for taking my debt and replacing it with the riches of your gace. Teach me to walk in those riches day by day. Amen

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. I teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age. - Titus 2:11-12

Lord I thankyou for today and the beauty it brings. I pray now as I start this holiday that you bring me renewed energy and enthusiasm for the things that need it and take away the wanting of things that you do not see as things that I need in my life.

Lord I thankyou that the promises I know will never be broken are yours. Lord I thankyou for your faithfullness in every situation. I pray now that you keep on reminding me that you are there and that you are the one who can occumplish all through your love, power and grace.

When we count our blessings, we find that God is the source of every one of them.

Lord I pray for this upcoming week away with many of my church friends. I pray it will be a fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience. I pray that your glory shines through in all I do on holiday.

Lord I really do pray today about my future. At this moment in time, I would like to hope the opportunity that you want me to take is in Youth Work with Durham, and I pray that I would receive clarification on this. I know whatever happens is your will, and I put my helmet of salvation on because I trust you fully and completely no matter what, because you God and I'm not

God has given every christian a love of love and grace to share with others.

Lord I thankyou for my story. The story of my life that you have planned out for me. It might not be the most eventful or action packed life, but it is the life you have willed for me and I thankyou for it.

ALways be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. - 1 Peter 3:15

When we seek God first, His blessings flow freely.

Lord Jesus, I thankyou that everything is done in your way and the way you choose for us. I guess if we tried to plan everything and do everything in our own strength, nothing would really work and thats one of the reasons why your here, to bless us on this earth and to keep us on the right path. I thankyou for the blessing you have given me and I pray that I might just continue to seek your way in everything.

Father God, Keep me running in the lane marked 'Grace', and if I should ever look to my own goodnessto gain salvation, pull me quickly back from my detour. I want to live each day fully depending on you.

Lord Jesus, I thankyou for the nature of your creation. I thankyou for every aspect of its beauty and the way it surprises everyone. I thankyou for friends and the great time I have spent with them today and hope to in the future

Lord God, I thankyou for the road I lead in my life with you as a christian. I thankyou that it isn't always nice and comfortable, and that it has bumps into it, because with those bumps and challenges, comes the times when I need to focus on you and how amazing you are. I pray that I would come to know your love more and more. I pray that tomorrow I wake up and put the armour of God on me.

Lord I oray today that I am diligent in the plans you have for me. That I stick at them when things don't seem to be going the way I want them, but Lord let me realise that they are going the way you want them to go. I thankyou for the rest I have had today.

God is interested in helping us overcome wrong and find a right relationship with him.

Lord Jesus, I thankyou for today and the time I have had to relax. I pray for energy in this next week and that your spirit just fills me for this next week. Thankyou Jesus.

When we give him our full attention, God will speak to our hearts.

Lord, I'm not the best at hearing you personally through myself, but I know you talk to me through so many different ways. Through other people, through your word, worship songs, and I pray that I realise this time is essential that I take time to just sit back and watch the world go by and be in your presence. I thankyou for this time I have where I can reflect on you and just home in on your holy spirit. Thanks God.

Lord God, I thankyou that no matter what I do, you love me day after day. I thankyou for your mercy and I pray that I would grow in integrity towards you. You can only fully work in me if I am living a life for you and that is loyal to your word. I thankyou that you will never leave me

Precious saviour, thankyou for the gift of holiness. Teach me to lead a life that is pleasing to you as I call upon the power of your grace.
