My story so far

Beauty is God's fingerprint on all He's made.

Lord I thankyou for beauty. As I'm reminded in reading about it, even when we see beauty, we appreciate it but do we always remember that you created it? I am challenged to realise that everything in this world is created by you, so I should treat it with respect like I treat you Lord.

Let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us. - Psalm 90:17

God has an endless supply of joy awaiting us, and the devil can't steal it if we won't let him.

Lord I thankyou for laughter and joy. It is an amazing joy you have given us and today I have felt so happy that your love is so strong I feel. I thankyou for the weather today, even though it was wet, that gave me an opportunity to cheer people up. Which you know is pretty tight!!

Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. - Nehemiah 8:10

Father God: Thankyou for saving me when I could not save myself. I know that I don't deserve your love and grace but you have given it to me despite my unworthiness. I will call upon that grace every day as I walk out my salvation.

God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. - 2 Corinthians 9:8

Lord I thankyou for the companionship that the young people in our church have. I pray that you keep that bond strong and that they all realise that at the centre of their relationships as friends that you should be at that centre.

God doesn't smooth out all of life's bumpy terrain, but He does lead us over it.

Lord I thankyou that you are my guide, and I pray that I might use you more and more as a guide because with you as my guide I will never get lost. I pray for those close to me now and I pray that you comfort and hold them close. I thankyou for your gift of life and pray that you let us all see how amazing you are and create something from nothing

The Lord will guide you continually, watering your life when you are dry and keeping you healthy, too. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring. - Isaih 58:11

The peace of God sings a song of life, and the harmony is beautiful.

Harmony and silence are wonderful things. Lord you have blessed me with a family who have a home where I can go and sit and just listen to you. I pray that I may use more opportunities to listen to you Lord and hear what you want me to do in my life.

Live in harmony with one another. - 1 Peter 3:8

God chose each one of us because He wanted to, not because He had to.

Lord it is not all about qualifications being the right man for the job, but it is all about you picking the people that you need, want and have to do the jobs that glorify and reflect your mercy. I thankyou for where you are leading me in my life.

By God's special favour and mighty power, I have been given the wonderful privilege of serving Him. - Ephesians 3:7

God is always speaking to us, but we must listen in order to hear His voice.

Lord God I pray that I may use my tougne wisely and that I use as a way to glorify you and not doubt, deny or lie about you. I thankyou that you have given us words to encourage and lift people up. Help me to use my tougne as a weapon for your kingdom.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. - Matthew 12:34

With God's love active in our lives, hope happens here; hope happens now.

Lord Jesus, thankyou for surprising me all the time. These blessings are brilliant, I know that I have to glorify you in all that you do, and I just pray that you might just give me the opportunity to do this.

God will help you overflow with hope in him through the Holy Spirit's power within you. - Romans 15:13

Heavenly Father: Thank you for showing me when I have become too concerned with other things and forgetful of your word, which opens to me the understanding of your grace in my life. Help me to learn and practice the principle of planned neglect.

Jesus said, "Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop - thirty, sixty or even a hundred times what was sown." - Mark 4:20

Lord I thankyou for relationships that are formed. Friendships that are created either from nothing or built back up. I pray for your holy spirit has I have heared today to create amazing things for me out of nothing, because you are the only person possible Lord Jesus. Thankyou for this weekend, it has been a ture blessing.

From God's persprective even the biggest challenges we face are attainable because He knows we can.

Lord I just pray that when I feel down and not in the right mind to speak to you, that I would let you search my heart for problems and anxiety that shouldn't even worry me because I have you in my life. But I pray that you would look after me in these next few months.
Amen

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Matthew 6:25

The God who established the universe wants to establish our lives' path, one day at a time, one step at a time.

Lord you put the stars in the sky and you know them by name. What power and authority you have over this universe, your creation. I pray that some of that power you will give me and let your spirit guide me through each day at a time and take everything in my stride knowing that you have it in your hands.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13

God wants us to know Him better - with that focus, we can always follow the right road for our lives.

Lord you have made me realise this holiday that I shouldn't be less forgiving of myself than you God, I need to realise that when I mess up I should come to you. The King!

I will put my spirit in you so you will obey my laws and do whatever I command. - Ezekiel 36:27

God's gifts are eternal. They never wear out. They only get better and better.

Lord I realise in this world that material possesions are 'everything'. I pray for those who find the need to buy buy buy and spend spend spend. I pray that you humble me Lord and convict me when I try to be part of this materialistic world. I thankyou for keeping me close.

Jesus said, "Real life is not measured by how much we own." - Luke 12:15

God - given dreams are worth pursing with everything within us - and then a little more.

Lord, everything is possible with you the risen Lord. I thankyou and pray now Lord Jesus for the people in our world who are no where near as lucky as I am, and I pray for any child lonely, left, neglected or down that you might give them your love and grace today.

Let him ask in faith, with no doubting. - James 1:6

Thankyou for your grace that covers all my mistakes and poor choices. Thank you for your holy spirit that helps me live a life that's pleasing to you.

Lord I thankyou so much for the time spent with my church family. They are such an encouragement to me and all the advice and fun they give out are a true blessing from you. Thankyou Jesus. You are risen

God hasn't invited us into a disorderly, unkempt life but into something holy and beautiful - as beautiful on the inside as the outside. - 1 Thessalonians 4:7

Lord Jesus, I am truely sorry for the sins I have commited and I pray tomorrow as we celebrate across the world, when you rose from the dead. I pray that this momentus day in history. I can turn over a new page in my life and start to really live a life that you want and not of earthly things. I pray for your forgiveness now God.

God sees us about the cross the lines and whispers: "There's nothing for you over there. Stay with Me."

Lord Jesus, being with you and living a life that is pleasing to you and that glorifies you is all that I want to live for. I pray that as I struggle to do this that you will keep on picking me up and setting me off again on the journey with you.

Stay alert; be in prayer so you don't wander into temptation without even knowing you're in danger. - Matthew 26:41

The beauty of a godly character will never fade. That means we can be truly beautiful forever.

Lord, I thankyou so much for making me humble over this easter period. I thankyou that on Good Friday your soon died. That his sacrificial love that you and he showed on that day saved us all from a death we deserve. I pray now as I find many things hard in my life that I would realise the sacrifice you made and be greatful.

I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. - Philippians 4:11

God gives us all the instruction we need through his Word.

Lord again, tonight, you keep revealing more and more about my life that i can use the resources to aid it. I pray that you would make me realise how VITAL the bible is to my life, that it is now sinking into me that without it I can't live a life that gives you glory, because it is my road map for my life. Your word the holy bible is the key for me not taking the wrong turn or worse going in the total wrong direction. So I give you this prayer that I will read it daily and reflect fully and use it as the best resource you made it to be for my life.

Study this Book of Law continually...Only then will ou succeed. - Joshua 1:8

We serve a God who cares about details.

Lord thankyou that tonight you have made me realise that no one has to see what I do for it to be valued. Because if you see it God then that is all that matters, whether I do something kind, helpful or selflessly you see it. I pray that I might seek excellence in everything I do , so I can put a smile on your face.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as though you were working for the Lord and not for people. - Colossians 3:23

Pending answers from God are well worth the wait.

Lord I thankyou that in most situations where my patience, reactions and actions are put to the test, that you are there to help me through them and you have given me more patience to deal with these situations. I pray now that I may have patience with all the issues in my life right now, good and bad.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him. - Psalm 37:7

Father God: Change me by your grace. Make me the person you created me to be - a person who is pleasing to you and of service to others.

By the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. - 1 Corinthians 15:10

Lord I thankyou for the young people getting baptised tonight. I pray that you would watch over them, keep them safe in these months ahead, and let them know your love and comfort tonight as they make this big commitment and step towards learning more about you.

God wants us to look good, but it should begn on the inside - with our hearts.

Lord I thankyou that today, you have helped me realise, no matter what people are like, shape, heights, colour, race, that it is what is on the inside that truely matters. Whether you can play guitar well or are good at sports, they are all worldly things. It is what God wants that counts.

I discipline my body like an athlete, training it to do what it should. - 1 Corinthians 9:27

God blesses honest people - and thats the truth!

Lord I pray that when I need to step up to the plate and deliver for you and what you stand for. That I would be at the forefront of your battle. I don't want to be on the side lines watching, although I pray that I would not try and use the glory for you as creating a bigger ego.

A good name is to be chose rather than great riches, Loving favour rather than silver and gold. - Proverbs 22:1

Jesus Christ is the only gift that keeps on giving.

Lord the bible is such an important tool, in the world today, you say that it is our sword to the world. I just pray now that you would help me use the bible as an effective means of helping people like my friends to understand you more.

If we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him. - 1 John 5:15

With God there is no 'fudge factor'.

Lord I pray that I might know the true value of the truth. That you teach me to learn how valuable it is to the world and to you more importantly. I thankyou that you dont come with strings attached. You are who you are.
