My story so far

Dear Father: I say I'm going to forgive someone, but then sometimes I don't mean it completely. I know you have forgiven me by your grace, even when I knew I needed to be forgiven. I need your grace to help me forgive others, especially when they don't seem to know they've done anything wrong.

'When you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive - only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins.' - Mark 11:25

Lord Jesus, I pray that you keep me calm in situations which I don't always know what to do. I pray that any apprehensions I may have will go and that you will walk with me this next week.

God wants to dry all our tears. It would be a crying shame if we didn't let Him.

Lord, you one day are going to wipe away tears forever. The same hands that created this amazing universe. I pray that you will wipe away everything that creates the tears, on that day when we see you. Because there wont be space for fear, doubt or any other problems in heave. Just room for rejoicing and love.

God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. - Revelation 21:4

God created us to be individuals coming together as one family celebrating our differences.

Lord, as I'm reading this passage, I strongly believe that we need to look at our beliefs as christians as a whole. Many people believe this and others believe that, but really if we tierd all our little threads together, we could use a strong rope to get on with the job at hand. The lost world is watching what we do, so why don't we pull together and get the job done.

Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. - Matthew 12:25

God always has a message ready and waiting for us to read.

Lord Jesus, technology is such a power tool in so many ways. I thankyou that I can use this to type my thoughts and prayers to you. I pray that I may use technology effectivly and productivly to enable your kingdom.

Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your law. - Psalm 119:18

Letting go unlocks the door ro our hearts, and God can fill it with all the wonderful things only he can bring into our lives.

Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand - new!! - Isaiah 43:18-19

Even in a tragic situation, God can birth something beautiful.

Lord there are many worse tragic events then what I am going through right now. I pray that you will keep me close and remind me constantly that if I live this life that you want me to, I will be rewarded with great blessings. I pray that this time I make the right choices and that I stay as the man you created me to be.

The Lord your God will go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you. - Deuteronomy 31:6

Heavenly Father: I can't imagine that you - the creator of the universe - would want me to 'abide' with you. It is an honour to know that you want me to be in your presence. Thankyou for your grace that makes being near you possible.

Jesus said, 'If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.' - John 15:7

Lord I thankyou for the blessings that you give me and everything that my life brings. Hlep me learn more and more about you in the next year of my life.

God has given us power to face our fears. With God on our side, faith speaks and fear runs away.

Lord I pray that you take any of my fears and take hold of them. I lift them all to you and I hope that with your love and power I will get over them and our relationship will be stronger than ever.

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. - Psalm 55:22

God's grace provides true contentment in life as we spend more time counting our blessings than adding up our troubles.

Lord I just pray that I carry out the these 10 guidelines for the day ahead.

So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times! - Ephesians 5:15 - 16

God has given so much to us - there's always reason to celebrate.

Lord the tasks that we think are so small and meaningless, Lord you have a purpose for every single one of those tasks has the potnetial to influence me. I thankyou for the opportunity this week to realise what a job my parents do, running a home, organising kids, and I just thankyou Lord for all they are to me.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might. - Ecclesiastes 9:10

God is good at helping us let go so we're ready to embrace the next good thing He has for us.

Lord I thankyou that even when we are angry at circumstances or frustrated that you can show us something beautiful and we will realise your love and hope in that situation.

Forgive anyone who does you wrong, just as Christ has forgiven you. - Colossians 3:13

True inner beauty only comes through Jesus Christ.

Lord, if I use the fruits of the spirit, my personal being and outward will become fruitfal as well. Lord I pray that you use me and my personality as a true blessing to others, that they might see your glory through me.

Lord I thankyou that you are an awesome God!! You truely are a healer, a conquerer and a beakon of hope.

God would be disappointed if we didn't bring our disappointments to Him.

Lord I thankyou that no matter how big or small a problem is , you see all qual value. I pray now that you would just invade my family now and keep us all together.

Are any of you in trouble? Then you should pray. - James 5:13

Because we have God's love, we are rich - rich enough to be able to afford some jokes at our own expense.

Lord keep me close when I feel like everything is crashing down. I have to keep other people up, but Lord will you keep me going because I can't do this on my own. Lord God I lay on my knees and give everything to you because you are God.

The holy spirit helps us take control over the flesh.

Spirit or flesh ? Lord I should choose your spirit everytime, but I don't please help me realise where I am falling down.

Let your good deeds shine out for all to see. - Matthew 5:16

God's confidence is BIG in us to do all He's called us to do.

Lord I should do things in your confidence. Because you are the one that carries me along. So I pray now that you can keep me going along, that I may use your confidence and belief in me to use the gifts you have given me to knock hurdles down and make them stay down, because God your just BIG.

You have been my hope, O Sovereign Lord, my confidence since my youth. - Psalm 71:5

No mountain is too big when God is on our side.

Lord you can move mountains. That amazing song, mighty to save. I thankyou that you can move my mountains, and help me to stop telling you how big my mountains are to you God, and start telling my mountains how big you are!

The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth. - Psalm 97:5

Dear Lord: I'm so glad that your grace extends to the words of my mouth. Help me speak boldly for you.

If you could find someone whose speech was perfectly true, you'd have a perfect person, in perfect control of life. - James 3:2

Lord I thankyou for friendship. It is a thing which you have taught me with ours that I cannot take for granted. But I do know that one friendship that will last is ours, so lord help me build on this friendship and shape others like it.

The difference between an ordinary life and an extraordinary one is the ' extra' care we take to appreciate God's blessings.

Lord God, material valuables are just material, they are nothing compared to your love and grace. So please Lord help me realise how lucky I am that I have these added bonuses to your love and gace. I pray now that I use these extra blessings from you, rightly, correctly and not abuse them. I thankyou for everything you do for me in my life.

My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. - 2 Corinthians 12:9

God's love and mercy never give up on us!

Lord if I just keep walking with you then nothing can go wrong. Life isn't a 40 yard dash, but a marathon. I just pray that you keep those who will help me through life close and help me secure my ladder of life, that it might not be broken and that I slowly and steadily climb up it reaching the goals you have set me

Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. - Hebrews 12:1

God's love in us produces good fruit!

Lord, the tounge can be a leathal weapon when used wrongly, but lord if I use it correctly it can tell people about your amazing love and grace. Help me not to give people and the devil the show they want with retaliation and abuse, but show god's fruit and love through my actions.

When the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce . . love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self - control. - Galatians 5:22-23

God created us to be His hands and feet to touch lives for him.

Lord I thankyou that we can stand out as christians and do the right thing that you want us to do. It doesn't matter if we help 1000 people or just 1, numbers are irrelivent to you because you see everyone of worth in your eyes. I just pray now that I may be a blessing to others in anyway that I can help.

Whoever is kind to the needy honours God. - Proverbs 14:31

God doesn't see our disabilities. He only sees our faith.

Lord we all have fears and things that stop us from being who we really are. Insecurities, peer pressure, all these and other mount up. But Lord you have made me realise that I can overcome these through asking you and using your love and power to motor on past them, knocking anything down that stands in my way.

When I am weak, then I am strong. - 2 Corinthians 12:10

Heavenly Father: By your grace you have provided perfect peace for my troubled and chaotic heart. I thankyou for your uninteruptted, watchful care that allows me to rest peacfully.

The peace of God, which translates all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7

Lord I thankyou for new life, and the gift of young people and their energy, enthusiasm and the joy they bring. I pray that over these next three years I can help bring out the potential of young people and aid them in whatever path they choose.

What we have because Jesus is our friend and saviour is far greater than anything we might not have in this life.

Lord, if I want this and want that, and never spend time asking myself what does God want, then please hit me hard so I can realise how foolish I have been. I pray that I might realise that you will never leave me, no matter how 'hard' my life gets and how much situations bog me down. I should never give up because your the one that can always keep me going.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. - Psalm 23:1

God pours out His grace on us so that we can pass it on to others.

Lord pride is such a huge issue in many young people's lives. The material possesions, the attitude of a teenager. I just pray that I will be different from the world, because otherwise I will be come part of the world, and you have called us to not go down that path. So I pray you keep me on the right road and that you will be my driver.

Whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant. - Matthew 20:26

Every plan God has for us is assured success.

Lord I need to realise, when you say yes, and you say no, na dnot mistake it for what I believe to be true when it is just me talking. I pray that you continually speak to me about the situations in my life right now.
