My story so far

God sees our generous hearts and is proud to call us His own.

Lord I pray that you make my heart a generous one and one that puts others needs first. I thank you that you are with me and that you wont leave me, so in return I wont turn my back on people.

Lord God , let any situation that I come against be the one that you want me to face, and I thank you that I am doing well and giving this year a great shot. I pray this continues.

God never overlooks a thankful heart.

Lord I pray that I can be an encouragement to others in the world. That small but simple things can go along way to people who feel under valued. Thank you God that you are totally in control with my life.

Thank GOD! Call out his Name! Tell the whole world who he is and what he's done! 1 Chronicles 16:8

Dear Lord: Thank you for allowing me to come into your presence and bring my prayers to you. Open my heart to your wisdom so that I may pray effectively, according to your will.

This is the boldness we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of him. - 1 John 5:14-15

Lord God thank you for the healing that you have brought to people in my life. I thank you that you have looked after them and kept your promises. I pray now for all those at Alpha last night that, Bobby Ball struck a chord in their hearts for you.

God is ready and willing to help us as we choose a path of integrity.

Lord thank you for the day you have blessed us with. I thank you that you are indescribable. I pray now that I may try and walk with integrity, that I will be able to start to stand up and be true to my word about what I say.

God loves the unlovely - and His love is what transforms us and makes us lovely.

God I thank you for the peace in my life. I pray that when I bring disorder into my life that you make me realise that the only order I want in my life is the one that you give. And that peace that conquers all situations.

God's blessings always bring joy and increase.

Lord I pray that your Holy Spirit work as my conscience. Thank you that it does and I thank you for the times when it has guided me. I pray now that you keep on guiding me rightly.

Lord I'm looking at home, and its not home with my parents, or home here. It's home with you, and I can't wait. You can have all the mansions and paradise islands on earth and have your little 'heaven on earth' but it is only a speck of dust compared to your heaven!

He puts a little heaven in our hearts so we'll never settle for less. - 2 Corinthians 5:5

The heavenly Father has great expectation in our homecoming!

Lord God I thank you for the day when you return. I pray that this would be the bigger picture to me, so that I realise small annoyances don't affect me, or shouldn't do. I pray that I live my life thinking about the bigger picture and realise the more pressing issues in my life.

We are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Saviour - Philippians 3:20

Father God: Help me to finish the race you've set out for my life. I know I can't do it on my own. But I know that you have given me your grace. Remind me when I'm feeling tired and discouraged that you are there to help me stay on my feet.

Lord I thankyou for the family you have blessed me with. I thankyou that they are always there for me and that the love they show, it is unending. I pray that we can work as a great unit and show your love through us.

I pray today Lord that you re-charge me for the week ahead. That I may be plugged in to what you want me to do and say this week. I thankyou so far for my time here and I pray now that you would continue to work in me as I live a year for you.

Lord I pray as I lead the band tonight. I pray that you are with me and use my gifts to further your kingdom. I pray tonight be an effective night and that I learn more about you.

When God leads the way, success in every area of our lives is guaranteed.

Lord I pray that I use your guidence, not the crowd. I need to use your holy spirit inside me and to think like Christ would. I just pray that I take each day using this mindset.

Lord I am fully reiant on you. I need to put all my trust and hope in you. Your the person I need to realise that I lean on for help. I thankyou for yesterday and the beautiful day it was. I pray that you keep working back home for your glory.

Dear God: Thank You for beng a rock in my life, loving me, helping me, protecting me, and making me better than I am. I praise you for your grace.

Romans 8:31-39

The joy in knowing God will defend us greater than any false accusations.

Lord I pray that you refresh my spirit anew today again. Thankyou for forgiveness but now Lord I pray that you make me realise as it says in this reading that a tooth for a tooth is not the way to be. So I pray that I try and try to get the attitude of Jesus. It's going to be hard and I won't ever get there, but Lord I can only grow if I am aiming for that.

God created us to lead - to influence others for him.

God I pray that I can be an example to my friends that don't know you. I pray for this year again, that you refresh me anew everyday and build me up every morning. I pray for those who need you now Lord, be with them and hold them.

When we allow God to speak for us, we won't speak out of turn.

Lord, so many times I can talk the talk but sometimes I don't walk the walk with you. Please God really convict me of times when I say and pray but never act that way. I thankyou for the forgiveness you show me and I pray that I might grow through this process.

Lord God, I thank you for joy! It's an amazing thing that you have blessed me with. I pray for those who are struggling with things in their life that they may know your piece and that you will be with them and your joy shall overflow into asking hearts.

Heavenly Father: I am so greatful that you are willing to walk with me through every storm in my life. I sure don't deserve your presence in my life. It's part of your grace. I trust you to help me when I call on you.

We need to hold to our hearts everything that Paul teaches us because if we don’t then the church will fall, we will preach incorrectness, and the body of Christ will be built on something that isn’t correct and glorifies God.

Acts 20:13-37

The best proof of the change God has made in us is our godly lives.

Lord I pray that I live a life that is pleasing to you. 'The proof is in the pudding' that statement is so true. I have to show people who don't want to come to you, a life that is true and godly. So I pray now you remind me daily to walk close to you.
Amen

By opening up to others, you'll prompt people to open up with God. - Matthew 5:16

Rest in the knowledge that we cannot go anywhere - even the depths of despair - where God cannot reach us.

Lord Jesus, your plan is amazing. If you think that you thought of every thought that I was going to have before the world came to pass. It just shows how great you are. I ray that I realise that you are everywhere in my life and in every aspect of it.

Jesus said, 'God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.' - Matthew 5:4

God makes us feel welcome even when others reject us.

Lord, being a christian in todays world means being different. Therefore I pray that I am the most different person people see. Lord I thankyou for letting me be an example to many people that you are the right way to follow. I pray for more opportunities to talk about you.

God forgives us freely so that we can say goodbye to shame and guilt

Lord, your steadfat love, and grace helps me to feel guilty for the sins I've done which is good. As I realise my faults and you can help me turn around. I pray that those working with me may see anything that is wrong with me, explain this to me and then I pray that I react and act on this in a possitive way.
